Nick Mammoliti and Dan Howard met at the Ontario College of Trades campus when they were starting their apprenticeships. They began as classmates, became good friends, and found they shared the same plan: to start their own electrical company.
Once they had finished their apprenticeships, they co-founded Live Electric in 2008. Nick brought his residential and industrial background, and Dan his commercial expertise. They started out with an old pickup truck and an unfinished basement for an office.
The company grew steadily, one truck and one employee at a time, adding experienced electricians and a wider range of work along the way.
Today, Live Electric runs a stocked warehouse and a dedicated estimating and project management office. Nick and Dan still lead the company and keep building long-term relationships with clients on projects large and small.
